It could be their appearance or personality that is not at all how they are when they are off the set. You will find, in most cases, that they do not resemble their beloved characters in any way shape or form. Conleth was originally cast to play the role of King Rober Baratheon but ended up taking the role of Varys. On Game of Thrones, his character is bald. In real life, Conleth has a full head of hair. He did not have any issues with shaving his hair off for the show, but in real life, he much prefers his hair.

Our favorite science and comic-loving nerd is much different to see in real life. On screen, he has a clean shave, slicked hair, and glasses. In the real world, he doesn't wear glasses, his curly hair is unruly, and he is part of the beard-gang.

By far one of the most beloved characters from the hit Netflix show, Orange is the New Black, is Crazy Eyes, Suzanne, played by Uzo Aduba. She has won two Emmys for this role playing a mentally ill woman who the fans of the show have grown to love. In real life, Uzo does not rock short dreads and a no-makeup look. She is a fashionable woman who always looks glamourous off-set.

Gustaf plays a religious zealot, Floki, in Vikings. Unlike his character, who is bald and wears makeup and has head tattoos, in real life he is clean cut with a short beard and hair.
