10 Easy Ways To Remove Grease Stains or Oil Stains From Clothes

1 Baby Powder
This method is very very easy to perform and works for clothes of all colours. It can be used on any stained cloth that has been washed and dried.

Step 2: Pour it on the stained surface and leave it as it is.
Step 3: The baby power will work as an absorbent, absorbing the oil and getting rid of the stain.

2 Baking Soda Or Dishwasher Agent + Oil Toothbrush
This method works like a charm.
How to apply:
Step 1: Pick your preferred detergent and carefully pour it over the stain.
Step 2: Put the cloth over a plain surface to hold it in proper place
Step 3: Add some drops of water to the detergent to humidify it.
Step 4: Use an old toothbrush to scrub the stain. Repeat the process at both the sides.
Step 5: Leave the cloth for ten minutes after the detergent is activated.

Step 1: Scrub baking powder over the stain with the help of an old toothbrush. In case the
stain is fresh, the baking soda will change colour. The colour changes to blue in most cases.

Step 3: Repeat this process until the baking soda stops changing colour.
Step 4: Ultimately, wash the stain patch with some soap.
3 Dishwasher Detergent And Hot Water
This method is very similar the one mentioned above, but is more suitable in case you are not in a hurry and have boiled water.
Step 1: Boil some water, which is good enough to completely submerge the stained cloth.
Step2: Add detergent to the water and wait for a couple of minutes. The water now should turn soapy.
Step 3: Put the cloth to be cleaned in the container and leave it there until the water turns warm.
Step 4: Rub the stain with your hands.
Step 5: Properly wash it in cold water.
4 Hairspray To Get Rid Of Grease Stains From Clothes
If you have some cans of hairspray lying around the house, this trick will help you put it to some productive use.

5 WD 40 Or Lighter Fluid

Step 1: Gently Apply WD 40 on the stain to remove it.

6 Cheez Wheez

How to apply:
Step 1: Put some Cheez Wheez or another similar product on the grease stain to get rid of it.
Step 2: Wash it afterwards.
7 Coca- Cola
It's popularly known that cola cola can help remove rust from the car tires. What is not known, though, is that it can also be used to remove grease stains easily.
How to apply:
Step 1. Apply it on the stain and let it stay for a while.
Step 2: When you notice the stains disappearing, wash it with some soapy water.
8 Trisodium Phosphate
Trisodium Phosphate can be easily bought from either Amazon or a local hardware store. This is a toxic chemical and can harm if not used properly, and hence it is strictly recommended to use safety goggles and protective gloves for this one.
Step 1: Mix an ounce of TSP with 1 cup of warm water and half cup of talcum powder.
Step 2. The mixture hence formed should be a thick white paste.
Step 3: Use a spreading tool to apply this paste to the stain.
Step 4: When it hardens, remove it from the cloth, then the stain will come off with it.
Step 5: Wash the cloth normally afterwards.
9 Mechanics’ Soap
